I bought the first generation XPRS in July, when I found out I would be teaching a student who needed to supplement their hearing with lip reading. While I loved the XPRS and how it snugged up over the bridge of my nose, didn't fog my glasses, and stayed put throughout class, the clear panel was a bit too small, and my student was having a hard time when I moved my head even a little bit. So I was so happy that the second generation has a much larger clear-panel. This was a great revision to the original.
The fit is quite comfortable for long periods of time. I don't get any chafing or slippage as I talk, and the snug fit stays put for hours at a time. I like too that I can smooth the contours along my nose and cheeks to keep any fog off my glasses. Though the edges of the clear panel do get a bit spitty after a while, the panel itself doesn't fog up. The fabric around the edges of the clear panel is excellent, too, and it doesn't allow those huge gaps you see with other clear-paneled masks.
The new, larger paneled XPRS is the best clear-paneled mask I've found. The fit feels very much like the N235, and the size of the panel ensures that my student was able to read my lips without any trouble. It's a good fit, the straps are comfortable, and the fit keeps my glasses from getting fogged. Really glad you all revised the panel size.
