You can also pull your mask down and keep it around your neck for times when when there isn’t a need for it.

Not having the retaining strap over the top of the ear has two bonuses: there is no scratching noises as you turn your head and most importantly, when you remove the mask, there is little chance of flipping your hearing aid off onto the ground (or God forbid, a puddle).
I'll probably order a second one just to have one handy.

This ear saver is great to ease the stress on your ears if you wear hearing aids and glasses. The clips were a bit tricky to attach at first, but once I figured out how everything works (lengthening the straps, attaching it, putting everything over your head before tightening), it really helped to decrease the stress behind my ears.

Work in the health care system and wear a mask for 10 plus hours a day. Not only a mask but wear glasses. It is safe to say that the ears take a brutal punishment. These lanyards make a shift a little more bearable.
